As part of the Catch Them Young (CTY) initiative of the BCP–Traffic Warden Organisation, two road safety awareness sessions were conducted at Premier School, Bengaluru, on 11 August 2026. The sessions were organised separately for students of different age groups to ensure that the awareness programmes were relevant and engaging for the students.

Session 1 – Classes 5 to 7

The first session was conducted at the School Auditorium from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, with approximately 120 students from Classes 5 to 7 participating.

The session was attended by the Principal, teaching staff and students. The programme was conducted by Traffic Warden Shri Pavan V. and Traffic Warden Smt. Kavitha Jain, who interacted with the students and highlighted the importance of traffic discipline, road safety and responsible behaviour as road users.

Session 2 – Classes 8 to 10

A second session was conducted at the High School Auditorium from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM for students of Classes 8 to 10. Around 90 students participated in the session, which was also attended by the Principal and members of the teaching staff.

The session was conducted by Traffic Warden Shri Pavan V. and Traffic Warden Smt. Kavitha Jain, with discussions focusing on the importance of responsible road-user behaviour, adherence to traffic rules and developing a strong culture of road safety among young citizens.

Both sessions received an enthusiastic and positive response from the students. The Principal and members of the school staff appreciated the efforts of the Traffic Warden Organisation and described the sessions as informative, engaging and valuable for the students.

Through such CTY programmes, BCP-TWO continues its efforts to educate and empower young citizens with the knowledge and responsibility needed to become safer and more disciplined road users, contributing towards the larger goal of making Bengaluru’s roads safer.
