As part of the Catch Them Young (CTY) road safety awareness initiative of the BCP–Traffic Warden Organisation, the East Division conducted two CTY sessions at St. Anne’s High School and PU College on 12 August 2026.

The sessions were conducted between 9:30 AM and 1:00 PM and witnessed the enthusiastic participation of approximately 1,000 students across both sessions, making it the largest CTY programme conducted by the East Division so far this year.

The sessions were conducted by a dedicated team of Traffic Wardens comprising Shri Premkumar, Shri Satish Rao, Shri Bibin Abraham and Smt. Mary D’Silva.

The programmes were also attended by SI Govindaraju, ASI Raghu and Constable Ramesh from Halasuru Traffic Police Station, whose participation added significant value to the awareness sessions and reinforced the importance of close coordination between the Bengaluru Traffic Police and BCP-TWO in promoting road safety.

The students participated with great enthusiasm, resulting in lively two-way interaction and meaningful engagement throughout the sessions. The presence of police personnel and their positive appreciation of the CTY initiative further highlighted the effectiveness of collaborative efforts in educating young road users.

The successful conduct of the sessions, reaching nearly 1,000 students in a single day, is a significant milestone for the East Division and reflects the growing reach and impact of the CTY initiative.
