As part of the Catch Them Young (CTY) road safety awareness initiative of the BCP–Traffic Warden Organisation, the East Division conducted two awareness sessions on 10 and 11 August 2026, reaching more than 175 students across different educational institutions.

Jayalakshmi High School, Ramaswamipalya – 10 August 2026

The first session was conducted at Jayalakshmi High School, Ramaswamipalya, on 10 August 2026, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Around 75 students from Classes 5 to 10 participated in the session.

The programme was conducted by Traffic Wardens Shri Charles Boromieo and Shri Chethan Elvis Das. The session received an enthusiastic response from both students and teachers. The Principal appreciated the efforts of the Traffic Warden Organisation and commended the voluntary service being undertaken to promote road safety awareness among young citizens.

RBANMS Degree College – 11 August 2026

The second CTY session was conducted at RBANMS Degree College on 11 August 2026, from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM, with approximately 100 students participating.

The session was conducted by Traffic Wardens Smt. Sowmya V., Shri Abhiram A., Shri Bibin A., Shri Charles B. and Shri Karthikeyan S. The programme was well received by the students and faculty, with active participation and interaction throughout the session.

Staff Awareness & Recruitment Initiative

Following the student awareness programme at RBANMS Degree College, the Director convened a special awareness session for the staff to introduce them to the objectives and activities of the Traffic Warden Organisation.

Application forms were distributed and interested staff members were encouraged to consider joining BCP-TWO and contributing their time and expertise towards improving traffic management and road safety in Bengaluru.

The Director expressed appreciation for the initiative and requested that another awareness session be conducted at the institution in the coming months.

These programmes reflect the continued efforts of the East Division of BCP-TWO to take road safety education beyond classrooms and engage not only students but also educators and the wider community. Through CTY, the Organisation continues to inspire young citizens to become responsible, informed and safety-conscious road users, contributing towards the vision of a safer Bengaluru.
