The APEX Committee Meeting of the Bengaluru City Police – Traffic Warden Organisation (BCP-TWO) was held on 15 July 2026 at the Headquarters, under the chairmanship of Shri. P. H. Rane, IPS (Retd.), Chief Traffic Warden. The meeting was attended by the Divisional In-charges from all divisions to review organisational activities and discuss key administrative and operational matters.

During the meeting, each Division presented a review of the activities and duties carried out during June 2026, including traffic regulation, special deployments, and public outreach initiatives. The status of inactive Traffic Wardens was also reviewed, and Divisional In-charges were advised to take appropriate action to strengthen participation and maintain an active volunteer force.

The Committee also reviewed the progress of CTY (Catch Them Young) road safety awareness programmes conducted in educational institutions and discussed plans to expand these initiatives across the city. Updates to the newly launched BCP-TWO website were reviewed, and Divisions were requested to ensure that photographs and profile details of all officers are updated to maintain accurate and current information.

To strengthen interaction with volunteers at the grassroots level, it was decided that Divisional Meetings would be conducted in all divisions within the following week, with the Chief Traffic Warden personally attending the meetings to interact with Traffic Wardens and review divisional activities.

The APEX Committee also considered recommendations for organisational appointments, and the appointments of Zonal In-charges for several vacant zones were approved and formally ratified during the meeting.

The meeting concluded with the Chief Traffic Warden appreciating the continued dedication and voluntary service of all Traffic Wardens and urging every Division to continue working with discipline, commitment, and professionalism in support of the Bengaluru Traffic Police and the citizens of Bengaluru.
