
The Bengaluru City Police – Traffic Warden Organisation (BCP-TWO) had the proud privilege of participating in the Independence Day Parade 2026 held at the prestigious Sam Manekshaw Parade Ground, Bengaluru.
The BCP-TWO parade contingent was led by Chief Drill Instructor Dr. Jayaprakash T. G., Dy. Chief Traffic Warden, who led the contingent with pride and distinction.
The BCP-TWO contingent marched alongside several distinguished uniformed forces and organisations, including the Bengaluru City Police, Bengaluru Traffic Police, CISF, BSF, Indian Army, Civil Defense, Exercise Department, and other participating contingents.
The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka, Shri D. K. Shivakumar, unfurled the National Flag and took the salute of the marching contingents, marking the solemn and proud occasion of the nation’s Independence Day celebrations.
For the Traffic Wardens, participating in this prestigious parade alongside the nation’s dedicated uniformed forces was a moment of immense pride, honour and privilege. It was a reflection of the commitment, discipline and dedication of BCP-TWO volunteers towards public service and their continued support to the Bengaluru City Police and Bengaluru Traffic Police.
