As part of the BCP Traffic Warden Organisation’s ongoing Catch Them Young (CTY) road safety initiative, an interactive Road Safety Awareness Programme was conducted on 18 July 2026 at Royal Concorde International School, Kalyanagar, Bengaluru.

The programme witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 100 students from Classes VIII to XI. The session was aimed at sensitising young students to the importance of road safety and encouraging them to become responsible road users. Key aspects covered during the programme included traffic rules, responsible road behaviour, road safety practices, and the important role young citizens can play in making Bengaluru’s roads safer.

The awareness session was conducted by Mr. Abhiram Athavale, Mr. Bibin Abraham, Mr. Rajesh Raju, Mr. Robin Rayappa and Mr. Chethan Elvis Das. Through interactive discussions and practical examples, the team engaged the students and helped them understand the importance of following traffic regulations and adopting safe practices while using the road.

A particularly memorable aspect of the programme was the participation of Mr. Robin Rayappa, who is an alumnus of Royal Concorde International School. Returning to his alma mater in his role as a Traffic Warden, he addressed the students and shared the road-safety message with them. His return to the school added a special and inspiring dimension to the programme, demonstrating how young members of the community can grow into responsible citizens and contribute towards creating safer roads.

The school management, faculty and students appreciated the efforts of the BCP Traffic Warden team and commended the engaging and informative nature of the session. The enthusiastic participation of the students reflected the importance of creating road-safety awareness among young people and encouraging them to carry these lessons into their everyday lives.

The BCP Traffic Warden Organisation continues its commitment to nurturing responsible road users through the Catch Them Young (CTY) initiative, with the objective of instilling road-safety awareness among young citizens from an early age. Programmes such as these play an important role in building awareness, responsibility and a culture of safer road behaviour among the next generation.
