As part of its continuing commitment to ensuring the smooth movement of traffic and enhancing public safety, the Bengaluru City Police – Traffic Warden Organisation (BCP-TWO) successfully conducted the Trishul Special Duty on Saturday, 1 August 2026, in the West Division.
The special deployment covered several high-density locations, including the Upparpet area, Majestic Bus Stand, Chickpet, and other surrounding busy junctions and commercial areas. These locations experience a significant increase in vehicular and pedestrian movement, particularly during weekends, making effective traffic management essential.
A total of 148 Traffic Wardens from various divisions across Bengaluru participated in the operation and rendered voluntary service between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Working closely with officers of the Bengaluru Traffic Police, the wardens assisted in regulating traffic flow, managing pedestrian movement, preventing congestion, and helping commuters navigate busy intersections safely.
The dedication, discipline, and teamwork displayed by the participating wardens once again reflected the organisation’s unwavering commitment to serving the citizens of Bengaluru.
The Bengaluru City Police – Traffic Warden Organisation expresses its sincere appreciation to all the wardens who volunteered their valuable time and effort in making the operation a success.
